Salone del Libro
For this edition too, I conceived and created the set-up of the Guido Gobino’s Literary Café.
The idea was to create a connection between chocolate and literature.
Aldo Costa was terrific in writing seven different versions, in completely different styles, of the same short story “Meraviglie d’Italia”(obviously about a foreign woman traveling in Italy and discovering GG’s chocolate in Turin), like in “Exercise de style” by Raymond Queneau.
– Note: the title is the same of the 2015 edition of the book fair. –
This is maybe my most representative work: simple but with great attention to every detail, with a strong concept with a cultural reference.
The degustation corner showed boxes of real chocolate mixed with words about the different literary genres: “noir” for dark chocolate, “local authors” for specialities from Turin, “best seller”… and so on.
People enjoyed the results and I was absolutely proud.
